In case you weren’t able to come to our meeting last Sunday, Click Here for the notes regarding our discussions about how to help ‘Build up and Build out.’
I hope all is well with you. This has been a week of needing God and seeing Him do wonderful things. We saw God move in the hearts of people suffering, provide jobs, give opportunities to build bridges, and provide answers to challenging situations.
Jesus promised that “If you abide in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.” (John 15:7) Let’s keep praying and asking Him to work in our lives.
Please pray for Mary Bailey who had cancer surgery. The first surgery revealed that the cancer was worse than expected. Keep her and Rod in your prayers.
Please pray for a team of people from Trinity who are working to write a paper on Intelligent Design and Evolution. We need to help our young adults who are facing Darwinism in public schools.
Pray for the start-up of new Home groups led by Doug and LynnRae Dupree, David and Laura Hood, Scott and Sheri Blakey, Richard and Tracy Matney, Bryan and Jennifer Walker, and Phil and Sara Fogal. Pray that they can build rich and trusting relationships and encourage and strengthen one another.
Pray for our Halloween Happenin’ outreach on October 31. Pray that God would help us to team up to love and serve our community and share the good news.
No study/gathering is planned for the week of November 23 because of Thanksgiving.
The week of December 7 is planned to be a time for Christmas celebration with your group.
REMINDERS FOR YOUR GROUP
Concerning our all-church outreach at Halloween Happenin’, here are some ways that you can team up.
- Decide if you can start working to prepare and run a game booth. We need about 30 booths led by Koinonia Home groups.
- Encourage people to sign up for set up teams including Construction or Electrical team. We’ll show you how to help.
- Bring candy (10 Lbs.) or buy two bags from us on Sunday mornings.
May His love and peace dwell in your hearts,
